ABOUT US…
Black Hills Figure Skating Club (BHFSC), located in Rapid City, SD, is a volunteer-run 501(c)3 organization and a member club of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) since 2009.
USFSA provides guidelines and rules for testing and competitions, which promote figure skating from the beginner level through Olympic competitors. BHFSC was established to provide its members with the benefits of having a home club at Roosevelt Park Ice Arena.
Our club members train and compete in the skating discipline of free skate, but are eligible to compete in all disciplines including: pairs, dance and synchronized team skating.
Volunteers are an essential part of the BHFSC. Volunteers allow the Club to perform its functions in support of our figure skaters. We also greatly appreciate the private and corporate sponsors who provide vital support through dasher-board and Spring Program advertising, silent auction donations, and other material and financial contributions.
